How To Get A Site Indexed In Google

Website indexing is the main part of website promotion because if your website not cached in search engine, it will not benefit in any manner because search engine will not show your website in their search results and the user will not able to see your website to get avail any services and products.

Creating a new website is tough because when you first create, your website is completely unknown, you have no links anywhere that pointing to your website, and your website not found in the search engines. Then what do you do?




I did work on many projects and I've experienced many different methods of getting websites indexed.

Here are some tips to getting listed in Google:-

1) Submit your website URL to Google

The first step is to submit your website in Google's free submit-your-site form by login to your account. Submit your home page only and Google's crawler, will crawl the rest pages. If you have a sitemap.xml file then google will crawl the website properly & easily. Google use to crawl all pages timely but there is guaranteed to be indexed.

2) Do Linking From A Site That Google Crawls Regularly

Get linked to a site that Google crawls. So when it happened then the crawler also visit your website. As like this if you add yours to many websites, Google will find you more and it will increase the backlinks for your website.

3) Submit Website To other search engines & DMOZ

Find some other top search engines & submit website details so that all search engines can show results include your website. Also submit your web site to the Open Directory Project index by this URL: http://www.dmoz.org/add.html

4) Add an XML sitemap in Website

In simple word:-A sitemap is a list of your all pages in a single page. The sitemap is user friendly and it gives them a quick way to navigate your website.

An XML sitemap tells Google about all your pages. If you have a website with 100 plus pages then an XML sitemap will help indexing soon. Google sitemap should be created in XML format. XML is similar to HTML. you can use any of "XML Sitemap Generator" to create sitemap quickly

5) Ignore to use “Under Construction Pages”.

6) Start Tagging with Digg, Delicious and other Social Bookmarking Sites.

7) Don't Leave blank page by writting there "Coming Soon" or "Content to be added".

8) Get Quality inbound links

You can also do something to get quality inbond links. there are too many source to get high quality links like: themetic link building, tagging & bookmarking, directory, article, classifieds, press release and more.

If you have too many links by another quality websites that already crawls by Google, then its a plus point to get indexed soon.
